Since 2002, the Catholic Church has accompanied documenta with art presentations in the Elisabethkirche. On February 27/28, 2026, artists will present their ideas for the Elisabethkirche in the summer of 2027. The artists come from Unsleben, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Kassel, Rotterdam, and Italy: Marinella Senatore, Arcangelo Sassolino (David Melis), Paul Diestel / Slawomir Elsner, Klasse Mehrdimensionale Strategien (Friday), Lara Almarcegui, Jan St. Werner, Monira Al Qadiri, Isabella Fürnkäs (Saturday).
